The Green Earth Summit

Rotary Club of Deonar is very keen to associte itself with the awareness programs related to Global Warming. It is the thrust area of our own leader Governor Raju.

The Rotary Green Earth Summit was one such initiative where our Club (Rotary Club of Deonar) were the lead hosts.
We also propose to undertake a number of joint projects along with NGOs like Stri Mukti Sangathana and others.

We have just completed a mega water & sanitation project in our adopted villages in and around Shelu-Vangani area near Neral. We have also initiated a rain water harvesting project in Saraswati Vidyalay, Chembur. We plan to target schools & colleges to spread the program.
